Pathora is a service operated by EduZMS.

1. Scope of these terms

These Terms of Service apply when you use Pathora-related services, including:

• the marketing website at pathora.eduzms.com;
• the Pathora mobile app; and
• connected learning services on the learning management system (LMS) at study.eduzms.com, where features such as IELTS Pathway, study plans, assignments, progress, and teacher review may be provided.

By using any of the above, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the services.

2. Service description

Pathora is an English learning system that may include AI-assisted feedback, the IELTS Pathway, benchmarks, study plans, assignments, voice recording and transcription (for speaking features), and related tools. The App, website, and LMS work together as described in the product experience.

The services are for education and learning support. They are not a substitute for official IELTS testing or a guarantee of any exam result.

3. AI disclaimer

Pathora may use PathoraAI and, where needed, other AI or infrastructure services to generate feedback, scores, and suggestions. AI output is for learning support only — it is not official IELTS scoring, not an endorsement or prediction by IELTS or any test authority, and not a guarantee of any particular band, outcome, or career result.

AI-generated feedback is intended for educational guidance only and should not be considered an official assessment or certification of language ability.

You should treat AI feedback as a study aid, use your own judgment, and seek professional or official resources when needed.

4. Your content and conduct

You are responsible for the content you submit (text, audio, and other material). You must not use the services to create or share illegal, abusive, harassing, hateful, or otherwise harmful content, or to misuse AI features in ways that could harm others or the platform.

5. Acceptable use

In addition to section 4, you must not:

• scrape, bulk-download, or extract our content, data, or system outputs without permission;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover source code or underlying AI or platform logic except where the law says you may;
• bypass, manipulate, or abuse credits, payments, access controls, or technical limitations;
• use the system mainly to generate harmful, misleading, or deceptive content, or to overload or disrupt our services.

We may restrict or suspend access if we reasonably believe these rules are broken.

6. Accounts

You may be asked to sign in or create an account through study.eduzms.com (or linked flows). You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. Tell us if you suspect unauthorised use.

7. Payments, credits, and subscriptions

Some features may use credits, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or other purchase flows offered through app stores, in-app purchase systems, or EduZMS payment channels. Refunds, if any, follow the terms shown at the time of purchase and the policies of the platform that processed the payment — we do not promise refunds beyond what those terms and applicable law require.

Credits and similar entitlements may have no cash value, may be non-transferable, and may expire or change as described in the product or purchase terms.

8. Data and privacy

We explain how we collect, use, and share data in our Privacy Policy. Please read it — it covers account data, learning data on the LMS, AI and voice features, and your choices. We do not sell your personal data (as described there).

9. Service availability and changes

We aim to run the services reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features, pricing, and integrations may change over time. We will try to give reasonable notice for material changes where we can.

10. Termination and suspension

We may suspend or end your access to Pathora or LMS-linked services if you break these Terms, create risk or legal issues, or where we are required to do so. You can stop using the services at any time; some obligations (for example, sections that make sense after you stop) may still apply as the law allows.

11. Intellectual property

The Pathora and EduZMS names, software, design, and content are protected. Do not copy or reuse them for commercial gain without our written permission, except as allowed by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, EduZMS and its team are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, or exam or career outcomes. Your use of the services is at your own risk, and we do not warrant that AI or other outputs are error-free.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. If we make important changes, we will try to notify you in the app, on the website, or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law and consumer rules in the place where EduZMS operates, unless a mandatory local law says otherwise.
